2x^2*x=2x^3
2x^2*4=8x^2

(2x^3+8x^2)/4x = 1/2x^2+2x^2

2x^2(x+4) = 2*x*x*(x+4)

divide it by 4x

(2*x*x*(x+4))/(4x) cancel a 2 and an x from the top and bottom
=x*(x+4)/2 = (1/2)x(x+4)

Just expand and divide each term by 4x.

Well I don't know what form the answer is in. I assume they want it expanded.
