What to bring to predrinks??

Right so im essentially a complete ****ing egg when it comes to socialising and ive only been to a handful of very small house parties as of yet

moving to uni this weekend and going out with new course friends. predrinks is at this girls flat. Ive never really done this before and i dont know about like, the etiquette of it all?? Like, if i bring myself vodka do i also bring my own mixers or will i look like a **** walking in a with a full 2l of lemonade in a tesco bag??

also if i took a full 750ml vodka and only drank a bit (massive lightweight) is it weird to ask to take it back?? do i leave it there??!! i dont know anything!! help me!

Don't sweat it. Bring what you want, maybe vodka and something to mix it in, who knows. If you're a lightweight, maybe 10 cans of strongbow dark fruit or something instead? If anyone makes a comment about something you've done, just laugh with them, nobody really cares and life is too short to be taking stuff like that seriously.

if you mess up with anything, laugh it off. it's no big deal.

(EDIT: if you're going on a night out after the predrinks, don't take it with you or that will end up smashed somewhere. maybe ask for it back the next day/don't bring too much in the first place).

take a half bottle of good quality stuff like gray goose and something to mix it with and just leave it if it doesn't get drunk which it will most likely as quality is used first when it is available you tend to find (i keep the best stuff for those who really are worth it in my office like a £1600 bottle of bourbon that's for clients who are hitting the half case line on spending I.E. £9,600 in a single transaction )
A bottle o' jager always goes down well
Anything really, no one will judge you

I would usually bring vodka mixed with coca-cola and maybe a few cans.

and nah, I've seen lots of people walking around at night with 2L bottles of lemonade mixed with spirits, its fine
I'd say take however much vodka you normally drink + more. I almost always take vodka to a party/pres because its easy to mix and to take there. I'd say always take mixers regardless if they already have some or not.. Just say you've brought some mixers to share and make sure anyone can have them. If you're pre-drinking you probably wont be taking your vodka out with you so I'd say leave it as you shouldn't have much left if you drink what you are normally used to.

good mixers I have are :
Vodka + Caribbean Twist + Lemonade
Vodka + any pop
Vodka + Sourz + Lemonade

If you bring vodka/other spirit - definitely bring mixer. You don't want to be*that person who has to steal mixer from others.

you're going to a place to get drunk. anything you take will get drunk. if you take a bottle of vodka, the person who owns the flat will keep what ever is left. hardly rocket science. take what you want. the point of pre's is to save money, so if you take a bottle of grey goose like the above said, you retarded.

Another thing to consider, pre-drinks often = drinking games. So whatever you're taking, be sure it is something that you can/are willing to down!
