Why do girls look at their own breasts?

I have noticed that girls will have a tendency to glance down at their own breasts when they pass by an attractive guy but then fold their arms in front of their breasts if the guy is not attractive. Why is that?

Maybe if you stopped staring at their breasts like a pervert then they wont feel the need to fold their arms.

Maybe the boobs are grapling and shouting "let me out!" everytime a hot guy passes, hence the constant glancing at the boobs to keep them quite?

Possible theory, you might think.
