What do you call the types of non academic degrees, such as in hairdressing etc

For courses like 'hairdressing', you would do NVQ courses and then sometimes foundation degrees.

Film and Media Studies are Arts degrees.

I'm pretty sure Film and Media Studies are not vocational degrees. Hairdressing yes, the others aren't.

I would say vocational training instead of vocational degree... Vocational degree could mean medicine or engineering...
