Capitalist countries have grown prosperous over the preceding decades and have seen living standards dramatically rise. Communist countries, on the other hand, have remained poor with low living standards. Communism doesn't work in practise.

I also have no desire to cede my private property.

A system should always have people above to be obeyed and people below to be commanded.
With almost 100 million people killed due to Communism in the 20th Century alone I really don't think it's a great idea.

And the whole "Equal outcomes" thing doesn't really work with human nature.

Name one country that has grown prosperous?That is just a delusion. America is one of the unhealthiest nations in the world with 36 million homeless people; and over half the population are poor.

Meanwhile cuba has a strong health system with a system that works for all.

500 million people have died due to capitalist so the capitalist excess in 400 million more deaths than there communist counterparts.

Its not about having equal outcomes, its about having equal safety.
