What is a good starting salary outside of London?

As the title says really
Been offered a 24k grad scheme in Glasgow. Is this a typical starting salary for places outside London? Obviously salary growth rate is more important, but what do you guys think?

Depends on a lot of things.. Outside of London could mean the more expensive South East of England to the less expensive North East. It could mean a £35k salary as a software dev for a tech company in Cambridge, to £22k as a first year trainee solicitor in Edinburgh.. Or even £18k as an HR Admin for a small to mid sized business in Newcastle..

What's the grad scheme?

Back office at an investment bank. Same job in London is 35k which does seem significantly higher despite the added costs of London
