If it annoys you, that's fair enough. I'd still advise trying to listen to the actual talk though, if you can overlook the background humming.

Assalamu 'alaikum

Im in a bit of a sticky situation

My family have recently gotten a mortgage to buy our house

Now they want me to get a job so i can chip in and help pay for the mortgage

I know this mortgage is completely impermissible, and I wanted to have nothing to do with it, but now i'm inevitably being sucked in because i live under the same roof

Not helping to pay the mortgage will cause a lot of problems and arguments

What would you guys do/what should i do?

The actions of others does not carry on to you.
You can look at it or give it as rent you pay.
Also if your family is not aware you can search and inform them of halal ways to buy property.

There are islamic institutes and banks in the UK which help with islmic loans towards buying property.
