what job opportunities with a history degree and did you enjoy it?

or is it worth doing a more specific course
Most graduate jobs do not require a specific degree. Unless you have a very technical / scientific job in mind, doing a history degree won't inhibit your career opportunities.

70-80% of grad jobs out there on the market don't have a specific degree subject as a prerequisite, so there are plenty. But because there is so much choice, if you don't have at least somewhat of an idea of a career to work towards, you can find yourself stuck without any of the right experience to go for jobs.

So it is a case of you can do a hell of a lot but if you're not a good enough candidate otherwise you won't get the job.
