How much have people saved for Freshers and Budgeted for the year?

I saved £250 for freshers which I am hoping will be more than enough and after bills, food, gym, insurance and phone I have just over £210 to spend per month. Is this going to be doable?

How are other peoples budgets looking?

Last year when I was at uni, I was already into my overdraft before freshers week because my loan came late :biggrin:

My parents are too generous and will probably give me enough to start me off (at least thats what I'm expecting haha)

Easily. Many people have less than that before all your bills.
