Taking a gap year?

I want to do architecture in university so would it be recommended for me to take a gap year so I can do additional courses and gain more work experience?

What are your opinions on taking a year off before uni?

I've moved your post to the Architecture forum.

Are you now in Y13? And are you working on a portfolio?

Thanks for that.

Yes. I've currently applied for an architecture project where I believe most of the work done can be added to my portfolio. Also, I'm going to start a CAD course in a few weeks. I think this is not enough experience and skills developed.

I'll leave it for the forum regulars to answer

What A-levels are you doing, and what are your predicted grades?
