My parents are kind and intelligent.
I feel very lucky.
I think I am one in a billion.
Because so many parents are crazy
and cruel or simply inept.

Hearing stories about all the crazy parents out there who kill or abuse their children makes me sick to my stomach and I feel sorry for those poor children, and at the same time makes me feel extremely lucky to be born to my parents.


Just a shame not all kids are as lucky as you. Yes you are one in a billion but you don't seem to understand us with awkward unsupportive parents CANNOT chose to have them or not.

Posts like this make me feel well jel :frown:

Love your parents straight back they seem to deserve it :smile:

Second every person is different so you cannot deduce from just a few people on all the rest of the people.

Would be interested to see how you all react when you are parents yourselves - I didn't love my childhood butt I understand my parents' decisions now I have kids of my own.you do the best you can, some make worse mistakes than others, but in 99% of cases, parents muddle through the best way they know how

Love my parents :smile: they're absolute baes, I don't know what I would do without them
I am blessed to have such amazing parents, they've given me a great foundation to my life and I take that for granted. Though we may have little quarrels here and there, they still are very special to me and have supported me throughout my life :smile: Love them both :h:
