I am sorry that there have been no replies thus far. As for
question 7(c)(i), the question wants you to
calculate the distance between the fringes. To do this, you can count the number of jumps between adjacent fringes there are within the
8.0mm section shown in
figure 7.1. There are four of these and thus the separation
x=48.0=2.0mm. As for the rest of the question, what is it in particular that you do not understand?
