Could have atleast said bye. Guy reminds me of Big Smoke tbh.
Anyone got any documentary recs? Particularly on ISIS/Middle East conflict (looking for more hard hitting sort of stuff, seen all the Ross Kemp docs) or WW2? The last decent WW2 doc I saw was Hitler in Colour I think it was, very good.

Watched this the other day, thought it was really good. It's about Hitler and his mistress, Eva Braun, as well as significant parts about WW2.

Hmm, will have a look mate. Not really that interested in their relationship.

I saw this and loved it, though it is a drama - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Frank:_The_Whole_Story

Was thinking more like that. Stuff that gives you an insight into what the times were like, as well as the horrors of the war.

This was fantastic, but the footage is brutal - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Will_Fall

It's a lot better than you'd think, but I understand if it doesn't interest you.

Having just watched Schindlers list I don't think I'm ready for another 3+ plus film, but the other one looks very interesting.

I had to turn that **** off. I've watched lengthy films before, am a big fan of Saving Private Ryan & Shawshank but SL takes far too long to get into. I have tried multiple times.

Yeah, it was a challenge and if I was watching it on my own I wouldn't have stuck with it, but I saw it through. It was alright, but I could've got the same amount of satisfaction from reading a Wikipedia page tbh

Actually stopped watching them both tbh

Need to get back in to it but it's one of those where you've missed so much that it would take ages to get back up to speed.
