Why are people against communism?

I never quite understand how people can be against such a prosperous economy growing thing.

communism without forced labour , rigged voting would be perfect.

Capitalism is just bad with problems like money always in the way, why not turn to a full on resource based economy where a new industrial revolution is powered by robots and the resources of the nation flow through.

In theory there are appealing aspects. However, in reality, many humans are like water, seeking the path of least resistance. Would these people really pull their weight in a collectivist economy where everyone is expected to chip in for an equal return?

Paradoxcially, many humans seek power and are driven by the idea of monetary gain. Likewise for the other group of humans, this group would not be content by putting increased levels of work in for equal return as those not putting as many hours in.

In reality, a 'strongman' always takes power in communism. It's unfortunate because it would be fascinating to see an authentic Communist country working. China is capitalist in all but name.

The abolition of defined and enforced property rights would strongly discourage innovation and put technological development at the mercy of beaurocrats picking winners. There's no evidence that technological development would occur at a faster rate than a state like the US.

this is explained in the Adam Smith's book "an inquiry into the wealth of nations (1776)". In his book smith pits communism against the concept of a free market; a market where prices of goods are determined by societal demand. As prices are the instrument with which economic activity is directed by both buyers and sellers, a free market economy represents the values of both the buyers and sellers and thus create an effeciency in maximizing not only sales but also the wellbeing of society as each side is evenly represented. Smith also showed an important corollary, when governments prevent prices from adjusting naturally to societal demands then it impede's economic activity. When most people view communism they only see it in a linear fashion however it has collateral effects. For example because the government has nationalized education to the point that it is free, it means that educational authorities are paid via tax's. Tax's bite of money held by the people which means they have less money to spend on consumer goods that directly benefit them. As a result, due to the lower expenditure on goods, Industries cannot make as much profit cannot expand their business cannot create more employment and hence wages will never increase. As money supply increases, but nominal wages remain stagnant. This would mean that Inflation would hurt the public even more. In a nut shell, communism hinders economic growth of a country and was one of the leading reasons why the USSR collapsed.

it's evil in its theoretical morality and its impossible in its execution - free market capitalism is the engine of individual happiness and social progress. socialism will simply destroy those things. socialism sticks up a middle finger to the successful and those that will help society. it burgles everything they gained for their aides to technology, nurishment and entertainment of society and gives it all to the groups in society who will not invest it in productivity or fruitful activities. that's why that money will run out relatively fast - the people who once generated the money will either stop drastically or move countries, and those that once might have had reason to be relatively productive (the poor) will have every reason *not* to be. productivity generates the means of happiness and utility, such as computers, medical cures, more efficient cars, more efficient machines, etc, and without capitalism, why would human beings work with other human beings to create the means of happiness when the fruits of capitalism (particular monetary rewards) are non-existent? **** communism. what an evil, heinus, abominable, mindless disease of an idea. if you're a communist, in my eyes, you are a sadist. there is evidence all around you that communism impoverishes societies (which isn't anything to do with dictatorships) yet you continue to advocate it? shameless manevolence. you might as well be an advocate for imperial warfare.

Simple. Some of those with power, who will be necessary, or else how do you enforce such a system, will take more than what they need and not give all that they can, because that is just human nature.
