Split it, if you wish, into: 1015x4x2yy2\displaystyle \frac{10}{15} \cdot \frac{x^4}{x^2} \cdot \frac{y}{y^2} then just multiply them back together after simplification.

You should know that
a=a1 \displaystyle a=a^1

1a=a1\displaystyle \frac{1}{a}=a^{-1}

and abac=abc\displaystyle \frac{a^b}{a^c}=a^{b-c}
