Does anyone else think there is a market for a more budget hotel than Travelodge?

Sometimes even Travelodge is too expensive, especially for students...

I think there is a market for a new hotel company with hotels with small, very basic (but very clean) hotel rooms with ensuites for very cheap prices in UK cities.

These would be very small rooms (like student halls' rooms) but clean and with ensuites and good service.
Thought they were called hostels or how about the easyhotel chain?

Hostels usually involve sharing with others which a lot of people don't want.

You can get single rooms in hostels. the cheaper hotels are then bed and breakfast and boarding houses.

No way, the land and property is way too expensive. The cheaper hotels like travelolodge aim to compete with mid range hotels like holiday inn, competition between budget hotels would lead to one If not both going bust. It's also almost impossible to enter with the current conditions of the property market as a mid range hotel, imagine how that'd turn out with a budget hotel.
I'd love somewhere like this. A hotel with a small room and ensuite just like student accommodation. Where room prices are very budget friendly. 100 per week maybe.
