It's possible half of them think sufferage means "suffering", and the other half are cucked enough to think sufferage should be banned because it's offensive to muslims or something ... the answer to both possiblities is "because they're Canadian."

Suffrage isn't usually a term that's used much in North American English. I doubt most people even in the UK actually know what it means and no one wants to look stupid and tell the camera that they don't know the meaning of a word so they decide to just agree with the interviewer.
Well they want to pick out as many sources as possible exemplifying terrorism in order to surreptitiously imply that all Muslims are evil psychopaths.
People dislike Islam because of all the problems associated with it. They didn't just start disliking Islam for no apparent reason and then desperately searched for reasons to justify their dislike for it.

Ah, the usual "not all Muslims are terrorists" straw man. We know that. I don't think even the most rabid, right-wing nutjob would claim that. Because the evidence clearly shows they are not.
Now, how about addressing the issue that the vast majority of deaths caused by terrorist attack are committed by Islamists? Something like 75% in 2011. And between 2000 and 2013, 489 out of 524 suicide attacks worldwide were commited by Islamists (and as the only other group involved was the now defunct Tamil Tigers, it will be 100% now). There must be a reason for that. Perhaps a literalist, unmodernised Islam appeals to evil psychopaths?
