Will 3 Bs at gcse hinder my chances of getting into Oxford?
I've just started my A levels but my gsce results are 3A*s 4As and 3 Bs. I really want to study Music at Oxford and the requirements for that are AAA. If I achieve AAA will I still have a chance based on my gcse results?
Yeah. They're not the greatest and will probably have a negative effect, but Oxford lets people in every year with worse grades. Things like the interviews, the written work you'll need to submit and your A2 results/predictions are very important too. If you do well in those, you'll definitely have a chance.
