Jealous woman in squash club

I recently joined a squash club, and after a few weeks I met a new club player, a semi attractive young lady, who I got chatting to after a game on club night. Then a much older lady, who is the club night organiser, got involved by asking the young lady whether or not I had harrassed her!

Is this old lady just a completely jealous fool, or is she just overprotective? In case you are wondering, I'm a relatively young and semi attractive, friendly guy myself.

Omg. Don't ever refer to a woman as "semi-attractive" to her face.

There was no bad word she said, she told her what I had said, and everything I had said was sensible and normal, like what level of squash she was at, and what she did for work, and where she grew up etc.
I've seen this type of jealousy in offices also, it is usually the old ugly ladies that try to act like the mother of a younger and quite attractive girl.
