I literally talk to random people and we end up becoming friends(well they just love me).
Just be yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, if you act like someone you aren't then how can you have a proper connection(well not really, just ignore this *****y talk that I'm saying right now). You obviously start by introducing yourself and the conservation generally proceeds from there.
