Is cocaine a drug or a lifestyle?

A drug, with multiple ways of living, but not a "lifestyle."

Academic. Wish it were.

No. I'm worried that they'll end up abusing, with all that brings.

Do you ever catch them getting danky?

How would you react if you actually did find out they had used drugs?
if they don't dope, they won't cope

They've admitted they have. Next question.

Right.. so why are you still testing them? Are you really unhappy with their use of drugs?
Original post by DrSocSciences
There you go. That's it.

If you had been a good parent, they would've just told you from the very beginning they used drugs

I'm checking what they're taking. And yes, I really am unhappy.

ah fair enough. It must be very hard as a parent, I would say from a young persons perspective though that in general, occasional use of recreational drugs isn't the end of the world - or even necessarily a bad thing. I fail to see how smoking is any less bad than drinking for example, other drugs I can definitely understand your concern though. If you don't mind me asking, what are they taking?

There's a tough school policy, and I don't want them thrown out.

You did kind of dodge this question - what happened when they told you? Any consequences?
