What do I need to know about atomic structure for edexcel additional science?

I'm not sure what I need to know about atomic structure? I know that the nucleus contains protons and neutrons and that the atomic number is how many protons it has

Stick to one question and answer per flash card, for example 'what is the relative charge of a proton?' and the answer would be '+1'

The best advice anyone could give you is to take a look at the spec, it tells you what you need to know

I have never used a flash card to revise and guess what I got on my core science GCSE. just use your revision guide and past papers to revise + doddle.
