Lipase breaks down fats to fatty acids and glycerol. If lipase was present in the cat's milk, there would be an increased amount of fatty acid, hence a higher pH. :smile:

Wouldn't the Ph be lower because acid are lower on the scale? :holmes:

Hi, please note that the pH would be lower (more acidic) if there were more fatty acids. Sorry!:colondollar:
