Is an Economics Degree harder than an Economics A Level?

I am currently studying it for A Level and wanted to pursue Economics at University. A lot of people say A Levels are easier than Degree courses.

It depends on how you define it. For instance obviously a degree is harder than A level but it may be easier to cope with than you did at A level if you know what I mean.
