Its impossible to say without your UKCAT. If you get a high UKCAT then GCSE grades are irrelevant as long as you have mostly As and a few Bs.

Btw the Cardiff need around 8A*s at GCSE, Oxford around 9/10 and Bham take into account the UKCAT as well so you could have a shot there.

I thought Birmingham do gamsat?
Anyone sat it or know what it's like
If your GCSEs aren't quite up to the mark, remember you can usually retake Maths and/or English GCSE this year if you need to - ask your school..

GAMSAT? That's for graduate entry.

Focus on your AS's for now and worry about medicine a but later. Oh and get some work experience sorted now, it'll save you stress later
Top Uni's don't exist in Medicine. You will become a doctor from wherever.

You will need to avoid places like Oxford, however, that like seeing lots of A*s at GCSE.

So exclude universities that require an A*.
i.e. just Birmingham according to this

Although I think Bristol also requires an A*

No it doesn't.

"Minimum five GCSEs at grade A to include Mathematics, English Language and two science subjects."

If you are a non-English speaker, plan to take IELTS - and just add this as 'pending' on your UCAS application.

If you are from an English speaking country then Profile A doesnt apply. You just need the standard GCSE requirement.

Ok. Where does it say that?

You don't need to pass a specific Eng Lang requirement if you are a native English speaker - only the GCSE requirement.
This is the same for ALL unis.
