I'm only in 3 days per week but for my course there's a depressing amount of reading to do :/

Problem is that although they're technically days off, the amount we need to do means we're expected to work during them anyway.

The problem for me is that I find it hard to get in to work on a "day off", so I try to make sure I do as much work as I can Monday-Wednesday just in case.

Nah living at home which is a ***** because the commute is about 2 hours...
Almost got a place in Leeds but I need to save money so I can move out once I graduate. Just puts less pressure on me if I struggle to get a grad job

Fairs, the commuting must be aids. Why not go to a Uni closer to home?

It's pretty much the closest uni tbh - my home town isn't far from Leeds itself, it's just the method I get there.

My house is like a 40 minute walk from the train station and the uni is a 30 minute walk from the station in Leeds.
So immediately that's 70 minutes of walking factored in to the commuting time.
Plus my train is pretty slow and stops pretty much everywhere on the way to Leeds.

So as the crow flies, I'm close but it's just how I have to get to/from the train station.

True tbh - Dirty is a bit rusty though and his passes are quality.
