Go big or go home?

So this girl Iv'e been texting/ seen a couple of times (who I used to go to school with) said to me indirectly the other day she's not sure she wants a relationship at the moment. It was just part of our conversation, but she knows that I want to date her..

Anyway, a lot of people will tell me to stop wasting time chasing this girl who's playing incredibly hard to get, but I want to know where the best place to go from here would be?

Do I make it clear what I want and lay all my cards out on the table or shall I continue to pursue her as I am?

If I have the opportunity to take her out on a date, or even just hang out for long enough, I know I'll be able to make her let her guard down..
