Is anyone planning to go Bangor or Keele University next year?

Would be great to know others who plan to go

I know this doesn't really answer the question, but I started at Keele this year, and I'm really enjoying it :h:

I actually settled in quite quickly, as the campus has everything you need pretty much on your doorstep, including a mini supermarket, a bank, a book shop, a pharmacy, a health centre, and several restaurants/takeaways. Keele's campus is also very green and peaceful, which is great for me as I dislike cities due to all the people, traffic, noise, etc.

Also, one of the best things in my opinion is the variety of societies that Keele have, there really is something for everyone (for me it's KRAP - Keele Rock Appreciation Posse, where fans of rock and metal can socialise while listening to great music!) And, if there isn't a society you like, it's really easy to set up a new one. On a similar note, there is excellent support, including group support sessions, for students with disabilities, and Keele are very welcoming, particularly of those on the autistic spectrum like myself, which is really good

My mum came to visit me the other day as it was her birthday, and she offered to take me home for the weekend. I declined though, as I was very happy here at Keele, which hopefully shows how nice it is! :h:

That sounds great! Its good that you are enjoying it  i wish i would have started this year, afterall i am 18 although i havent finished my course. Id like to join many societies, i did attend an open day and it seemed good overall and i loved the fact its not situated in a city as you did, i only live 40 mile away so not too far either. KRAP sounds fun btw :h:

I've only been to one KRAP social so far (I'm currently suffering from Fresher's Flu so haven't been able to attend them all ), but I'd still definitely recommend it if you like rock/metal!

Good luck with your uni decision :h:

We would

For the first year of Geoscience we go on fieldtrips to places in the UK, our first trip is to Ercall Quarries in a couple of weeks! We also go to the Natural History Museum in London, Llangollen and Pembrokeshire for a week. In the second year we get the chance to go abroad, either to Spain (no extra cost), or Utah (you have to pay) and also spend a week in Snowdonia, among other places :h:

I will let you know! A lot of the Geoscience trips are shared with the dual honours Geology students, so if you did Geology and Biology you'd get to do a lot of them too :h:

I haven't got Twitter unfortunately, however I do have Facebook messenger if that's any good? :h:
