Credit points and ucas points? are they the same?

right i have 120 ucas points from 2 years ago am now studying at open uni doing a HNC 120 credits equivilent to the first year of uni i was wondering where i can add the ucas points and the credits to form a total?

or if not would a normal uni let me study for 2nd year with the credits (120) that u will earn this year?

HNC credits are NOT tariff bearing - they are university credits and equivalent to the first year of a degree. Tariffs are only awarded to pre-university (level 3) qualification.

If it isn't clear from university websites/UCAS whether you are likely to get an offer with an HNC then phone universities up and ask them.
