I'm applying for psychology :smile: would you mind telling me a bit about psychology at Southampton or why you like it?


There is a lot of flexibility in the range of options you can take- you can take all psych options or you can 'minor' in a subject (like in America). The course is very scientific and has a lot of cognitive/ neuroscience options but there is a wide range of options! Natural Science (Maths/Physics/Chemistry) but I'll probably end up specialising in Chemistry tbh

Not really. 86% offer rate for Chem at York.

Am planning on applying to Bath, KCL, Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester but still not sure whether to replace bath or KCL with UCL because no-one that I had seen was really applying to Bath and that was making me a bit worried haha.

I really liked KCL's psychology course but it's London so it probably wouldn't ever be a firm :frown: Bath was nice too. Have you visited any of them?
Guess I have to wait for another day, it's too late now for Warwick to give out offers.

I got an unconditional offer for English from Royal Holloway today! I only sent in my application yesterday, they must be quite fast then - also, the offer came in at around 6pm, so it's worth checking outside working hours

I've had confirmation from Birmingham, Cambridge and Southampton, nothing from Nottingham yet


Out of interest, what college at Cambridge?

Awh :frown: Is it because of the accomodation and living costs because that's something that's really concerning me about KCL despite the course probably being my favourite so far. :frown: I've seen all except Cardiff and just am applying there based on positive feedback. Bath's last year modules really interested me and I think I'd struggle a lot with choosing hahah considering I actually went there. :') Which do you think is likely to be your firm?

Don't rule anything out yet - when I applied all my responses/offers came through at around 9pm!

Actually I live in London and I kindawant to get away, otherwise I'll probably be living at home for another three years and i just nope :| I know it's expensive but at least the London loan is higher if u really wanted to come here for uni! To be honest though KCL COULD just tempt me to stay.

I'm not even going to think about firm and insurance until I actually get an offer to save myself from any disappointment :/
I sent off my UCAS on the 7th of October and I'm dying to hear from my uni's:
PPE- Oxford (confirmation email)
Economics and politics at Bath (their track email), Bristol (no email yet), Exeter (confirmation email) and Loughborough (confirmation email)

Good luck to everyone refreshing their track every five minutes like I am :':wink:

Why did you think you were getting an offer today? I also applied to warwick and I got their acknowledgement email today so I thought it would still take a while
