Product rule! dy/dx = (u * dv/dx) + (v * du/dx)
If you want to really be able to make sure you have your differentiation concepts done try the rates of change questions, I personally like solving them cause they're quite different.

The thing is this whole exercise was about the quotient rule, so it kinda threw me off and i didn't even think about the product rule!

Quotient rule is a special case of product rule.
