Advantages and Disadvantages of Litigation and ADR?

Im stumped on what each of them are, therefore have no understanding of the advantages and disadvantages.
Could someone point me in the right direction.

I really am struggling to understand any of this law business (Im on a Construction Degree so i didnt choose law).

But it's in the course description and doesn't sound half bad. Don't give up before you start.

I wasn't given the course description before I started it!
It might not to you but it may as well be in Welsh to me. I do t understand a thing! Plus no tutor and 100% reading based doesn't suit my learning style at all!
Therefore I'm being taken off the course.
Today was my last day!
