Warwick offer holders 2017

Scroll to see replies

I applied on the 11th October for English Literature and English Literature with Creative Writing.

I currently have an offer from Warwick for English Literature, I received the offer on the 13th. It was a conditional offer - I have to get 3 A's.

I was predicted overall: A,A,A
I also voluntarily did an AS in English and got an A.

With everyone getting offers, I'm starting to get pretty anxious about the silence.

When did you send your UCAS application: October 3rd
To which course did you apply: PPE
AS and A level predicted: AAAABB / A*A*A*AA / 9A* 2A GCSE
When did you receive your offer: Not yet, offers from Manchester and York

I've read that PPE at Warwick is second most competitive in the country (Oxford being top), has anyone heard back yet for PPE?
Got my offer a half an hour ago.

When did you send your UCAS application: October 11th? -- don't remember exact date...
To which course did you apply: Computer Science
AS Grades: AAB (Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Classics)
A-level predicted: A*A*A* (Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics)
GCSE: 5A* 6A 1B --- I think
When did you receive your offer: October 17th 6:40 -- had to wait 6 days, some kids in my school got an offer within 24 hours, so I'm definitely not a particularly strong candidate!!
Has anyone received a MORSE offer yet? I sent mine off on the 29th and haven't heard back apart from the acknowledgement of receipt.
When did you send your UCAS application: October 13th.
To which course did you apply: History V100
AS Grades: AAAB - English Literature, History, Law, Physics
A-level predicted: A*A*A - English Literature, Law, History
GCSE: 9A* 1A 2Bs
When did you receive your offer: October 17th 5:40 PM - Conditional with AAA including history.
I have my offer for computer science now  A*AA for the MEng and AAA for BSc

St Marys
Do joint courses typically take longer for responses? It's been 3 weeks now since my application and still nothing for Discrete Maths :frown: Does anyone know if the Discrete Maths admissions process goes through just the CompSci department or maths as well?
