I know (or rather, I presume) you're being facetious but if you can't tell the difference between kidnap, and getting a child out of the system and into a good home, then more fool you.

If you can't see how adopting is a win-win for all involved (you don't want to get pregnant but you get a kid out of adoption, and the kid gets out of the system) then you're really going to struggle with parenthood.

Adopting is great yes but I bet you won't be choosing the win win adoption option! To be honest yea I'd probably struggle with a baby anyway I wouldn't have a clue what to do. Though if there's an element of comparison, I'm great at taking care of pets I'l give myself that

I think women do have it tougher with periods, childbearing and birth, boobs, all on top of earning a living.

Boobs don't bother me the slightest due to my lack of them. Periods are generally a minor hindrance once you get over the adolescent teenage, thanks to tampons it's just plug and go. It's just the time pressure and the feeling that I'm 'supposed to give birth' that I feel is ruining my life a little. I don't want kids now or any time soon but it's like my mind is threatening me that I'l regret not having them when I'm older and it's too late. This is the hardest part.

I can imagine what she is really thinking is something along the lines of
'I don't want to put the effort into raising someone else's child' or 'it's only worth it if the child is biologically mine'.

Nah, I wouldn't choose to raise a child, mine or not.

Of course I won't be; I don't want kids.

The way I live my life is completely irrelevant though, as you're the one that made a thread about potentially wanting kids without the hassle of going through being pregnant, so y'know...

There is also the option of falling in love with someone who already has kids.
Just a typical girl overthinking about things that are not even important lol

Im in my late 20's and don't ever want to be pregnant but might like a baby sometime in the future. Im very into keeping fit and weight lifting so there's the fact that it will I interrupt my goals but the main reason is I'm just afraid and hate the idea of being stuck with carrying something for 9 months and all the pain. Not to mention my fear of feeling/being sick. I think it is harsh biologically I mean why can't we just lay a ****ing egg. Ive not even met anyone to settle down with yet and I enjoy life as it is but I feel a pressure to settle down as though I'm on a time limit and it gets me feeling down every few days. . Part of me wants a child eventually but I don't think i'l ever feel ready in my fertile years there's so much I want to do in life. I've never been travelling or socialised much in the past I've been too quiet and anxious. Don't really know what I'm asking, maybe just a bit of advice, just wanted to say how I feel as its an odd thing to discuss in real life with people.

The bit about laying an egg made me lol.
Three issues.

1. Wanting to keep th option of having a child open. You should seriously look into freezing your eggs. Fertility rates drop quite dramatically so to have some of your eggs harvested early on would give you an option.

2. Not knowing if you wnat a child. People can change their minds about parenthood really quickly. Its no for everyone but some people change from anti to being very pro.

3. Not meeting the right person. Perpetual question plus you probably have lots of Mr Wrongs before Mr Right. Be positive you only need one.
the alternative is to go the turkey baster route if you are waiting and that pesky old clock is ticking.

Men lay eggs, I'll show you:

men = sperms; women = eggs;
men lay women
therefore,
men lay eggs.
