(Hi! I just wanted to say the layout of this thread is so cool!!! Also good luck! I also spent all of year 13 aiming for A*A*A* - it's such a great feeling on results day when you get it, definitely worth it! )

Thanks! I really appreciate it I'm not really expecting 3 A*s (essay subjects after all - anything can happen), but I'm gonna try my best!

a university like York should not be making students go to interviews, they are nowhere near that good.

It's for their Law school. They are the only Law school in the country to teach the way they do (and thus highly ranked for it). The interviews exist to see if the candidate is suitable for said teaching style. All academically suitable Law applicants go.

Tracking this blog!

I really need to knuckle down with politics and history this year. US G&P is boring though and the Tudor unit for me is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Then there's the AS history units, oh dear.

We're doing ideologies which I've actually found interesting, and I'd agree that Tudors is just :yawn:
