I've applied for design engineering! I got an acknowledgment a few days after applying (sent off on 7th October) but haven't heard anything since.

Oh my.
Overall in the whole uni, how would you say the proportion of girls to guys is?
intended subject - Chemical Engineering
GCSE/IGCSE grades - 4A* 4A 3B
AS-level(predicted/actual) - AAAAB (Maths, FMaths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, in order, actual grades)
A-level(predicted/actual) - A*A*A*A, dropped Biology because timetabling 5 subjects would have been a nightmare for my school.
Extracurriculars - WE at Selex.

My interview is on Wednesday

Hi there, that's awesome! I'm applying for Aeronautical Engineering and I've not even had an acknowledgement yet....

Maybe the engineering faculty as a whole takes time to decide things and we may hear from them later

Hi!
IGCSEs- 10A*s with a B in further maths (I know, rly embarrassing)
AS- I have 7 AS AAAAAAA, but one is language that I am native in, one is EPQ, don't think they will contribute that much. The rest are physics, maths, geography and biology.
A2- predicted/expected A*A*A* (only have three because I am doing the additional further math AS this year) I am worried because I am only taking 3 A2s and most people will be taking 4A2s, I could continue with bio this year and my predicted would be A* but I srsly don't think I can deal with 5 at the same time and get all A*s. Plus I am concerned that my modulus grades are not very consistent, I have several full marks but several Bs at the same time its gonna look rly bad.

Oh and I am doing Civil Engineering

where else did you apply? your subjects? grades/predictions?
Course: Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry
GCSEs: 7A* 2A and 1B
AS: A (maths, rest are all linear)
A2 Predicted: A*A*AA (Chemistry, Maths, Biology + English Literature) + A* in EPQ

I've got an interview for the 14th December, anybody else? :smile:

I applied to UCL, Imperial, Cambridge, Southampton and Glasgow (unconditional received)

I'm doing advanced higher Math, Physics and Chemistry

And I've had straight As in Highers and National 5 (Scottish system)
