exactly

I wouldn't worry too much, I don't think they even read them. I emailed twice over 2 weeks ago and haven't had a response. And anyone that has seems to have had the same generic template response of, "we can't provide individual progress updates".

I got a feeling we will start mid November , but even then theres no point geting worked up over it , im grateful im on a solid grad program which i did not expect one bit !

The wait will certainly be worth it so whether its a extra month or two , we have all been set on a good path

I mean I don't think mid November is actually possible anymore. Minimum four weeks notice isn't it? Offers would have to be in tomorrow.

Yep 4 weeks notice. I'm going for a new year start date. Makes sense to me as it means they won't have to pay us whilst it's shut over Christmas.
I sent my DBS and health declaration off on Monday to them and received my certificate on Friday. I also received the all checks completed email. Just waiting now for a start date. I would prefer a January start to be honest with all of you. It would allow me some time to leave my current employer whilst also having a little break over Christmas before commencing the new role.
I am for an O role in London; however they haven't yet clarified the location. Does anyone know if it's going to be Stratford or Croydon?

I hope all of your checks are completed quickly.
For anyone that has received a letter from OHAssist and is waiting for a response from them, call them as soon as possible. I spoke to them a little while ago and they advised that I needed to make an appointment. I'm slightly confused as to why I wasn't contacted earlier.

It seems as though you'll have to do the chasing up with Occ Health.

Thought I'd give everyone a heads up!

Just checked my account and sent my DBS off on 21st September and have no update still. Anyone else with a provisional offer in manchester in the same situation?

Same situation here, however I was offered a position in London. I sent my documents on 28th September. Just called DBS (for the second time) and still no application from HMRC under my name. When I presented my documents some lady said that all checks had to be done by 18th October.

I wonder if anyone waiting for a London position was actually given a start date.

Hey Congly.... I am in an (checks emails to double check) identical position....did you get the dbs/health form on the 3rd October (and a receipt for the health form after sent to bsteam address?) I also went to Euston on the 28th (did you state you wanted Stratford by any chance)

I am really worried TBH....I phoned DBS thrice and they dont have any application at all. Today resorting to ringing and emailing any numbers/email addresses provided throughout from HMRC.

Did you get an occupational health letter through the post.....some have after the initial health declaration (for the record I have NOT and I am expecting as I had a football injury).

Anyway keep in touch...and I shall do the same as we seem to be shipwrecked waiting for the lighthouse to get back on the energy grid.

I've just sent a somewhat angry email asking them for someone to reply who can actually give answers rather than the same generic response.

It's really not fair to keep us waiting like this. It's not too bad for those already in full time work who are still working whilst waiting for a response but I carried on the part time job I had whilst at uni. Without student loans to subsidise this income it's no good for me anymore. As we haven't got any approximate timeline, I don't know whether it's worth looking for a permanent full time job or go for temporary work😑
Email received at 17.45 today. This is for Glasgow

Dear Ryan,

Re: CSR/1667/16 HMRC Band O Tax Professional Programme 2016 .

We will be contacting candidates shortly regarding the next stage of the recruitment process. We acknowledge you may have to make certain arrangements before taking up employment with HMRC and we will endeavour to write to you again as soon as possible.

Kind Regards,

Hey, man those are exactly the same dates as mine! When I went to Euston TowerI didn't state I wanted Stratford but I mentioned that I'd love to go to Parliament Street as I had interned there and the facilities are amazing, the lady smiled and said that it was likely I wouldn't go there.

I rang DBS twice. First time was a couple of weeks ago and they just said "no application under your name". This morning they said that because it was a basic check I had to ring the Scottish office. I did it and I spoke to a very helpful lady, she found my DBS from my internship with HMRC a couple of years ago but nothing more recent than that.

No letter through the post or any further communication after the receipt for the health declaration.

I'm going nuts with this waiting.

Hi I'm also waiting for a start date in Manchester. DBS was sent on the same date as you and was sent an email to confirm completed last Friday. Got the same email as ryan.m but still no start date yet.

I'm waiting for HO in Manchester, I sent my consent for dbs on 24th August... Wondering if there's a different timescale on the two positions. Not sure of anyone else that's been waiting so long.
