I'm waiting for HO in Manchester, I sent my consent for dbs on 24th August... Wondering if there's a different timescale on the two positions. Not sure of anyone else that's been waiting so long.

I feel like positions outside London are having some priority timewise. Don't think anyone in London was actually given a start date either for O or HO. Please correct me if I'm mistaken guys

For anyone that has received a letter from OHAssist and is waiting for a response from them, call them as soon as possible. I spoke to them a little while ago and they advised that I needed to make an appointment. I'm slightly confused as to why I wasn't contacted earlier.

It seems as though you'll have to do the chasing up with Occ Health.

Thought I'd give everyone a heads up!

Same as you, I filled in their questionnaire on their website a week Saturday just gone, was told at the end I would hear from and got to last Friday and hadn't heard anything so called them up and they told me I needed an appointment, no mention of why they didn't call me! The lady I spoke to told me to call back today, which I did, and I'm booked in a week on Wednesday. Hopefully this is it now as DBS certificate received last Tuesday, so nothing else needs to be done.

Re: CSR/1667/16 HMRC Band O Tax Professional Programme 2016 .

We will be contacting candidates shortly regarding the next stage of the recruitment process. We acknowledge you may have to make certain arrangements before taking up employment with HMRC and we will endeavour to write to you again as soon as possible.

They did say phone consultation will last 40mins, and that the Assessor will issue a report on fitness for work. God knows how long that'll take!

They've started ringing to find out people's notice periods. Apparently they are compiling a master database of this info and will then start issuing start dates once they have contacted everyone and analysed their data.

Thank you 😊
Starting date will be 5th December for most people. I needed to harass them on the phone to get my formal offer. If you are not currently working, make sure they know that you are available for an immediate start.

Good luck to everyone who are still waiting!

Hi,

I like the others are eager to hear from you!
What location/role (O/HO) did you apply for /is this from the TSP reserve list.

Finally my pre employments are not complete yet (DBS not sent despite fillied in etc) PLEASE provide the number you called.... as an email I sent yesterday was replied with some generic stuff not likely to comfort anyone.

I am available to start but this waiting is making any planning impossible.

Oh and I take it you took up boxing to handle the stress from this campaign, LOL...

Band O role from the reserve list. The wait was unbearable and I made sure they knew I was unhappy. I had to gain sympathy points by saying I'm behind on my rent payment and I did not take up other opportunities because of this role. Look through your emails to find any contact details as I think these might be specific to the location. I'm happy to send numbers and emails privately.
I got my start date emailed though today. 5th December for the Longbenton office.

That's great news, out of curiousity when did you get provisional offer?
