core 1 maths help?

Hi, i'm stuck on this question:
Write down the co-ordinates where the two graphs meet: x^2+y^2=125
3x+y=25

try isolating y from the second equation and substitute it to the first.

You need to make the equations equal each other, this will show you where the graphs intercept.
Do a simultaneous equation where the you have the linear one be y= something or x= something before you start.

the easiest way is to rearrange the second equation for y=... and substitute that into the first equation,

you should get a quadraticI'm sure you can do it yourself from their...

Let y= 25-3x and replace y in the first equation

The quadratic solving approach is fine, but the question does say 'Write down' which generally literally means write down the solution. In this case it's very easy to see what the solution is (by inspection).
