Couldn't agree more.

Fallout 4 wasn't bad but then it wasn't great either.
That game gives me nostalgia. I would love to do a playthrough again, but too busy currently.

I like fallout 4 but yes new vegas is very good, unique too
I'm quite certain it was my first game too on ps3.

Damn i remember the slow walks across the desert and the sometimes hilarious slow motion action shots when killing something xD
Oh god i remember

Do you not like fallout4 then?
I fully agree with you, I liked Fallout 4, that game was fantastic for me on my first playthrough. But i do get where you're coming from

Do you like elder scrolls or fallout more?
I didn't like fallout 4 at all. It didn't make me really want to progress through the story. With New Vegas I was actually interested and I knew that New Vegas was gonna be a cool place, whereas in Fallout 4 the story wasn't really that mysterious or anything, just "where the hell is my kid that I don't actually care about" and then diamond city didn't immediately sound cool either.

New vegas is really cool 10/10 would make thousands on blackjack again.

I couldnt agree more for me fallout new vegas was all of the things I loved about fallout 3 only better and with casinos, one of my favourite things. I do also like fallout 4 but I think it could have benfited from a new vegas style faction system to make me care more about my choices.

I don't really know what story choices there were, I could never stand the early game long enough to actually get to diamond city.

So what is that U like about fallout if U don't mind me asking or is it just the opportunity it gives U for conversations with charming fellow fans;- 😉 haha
Is Fallout 4 even worth playing? I preferred NV to 3 if I'm honest ahaha. Finding the dude in the tower was really disturbing though.

The quest from the bar man in Freeside's pub was the funniest fallout quest I've come across so far, lol. Not gonna spoil it too much but if you've done it you'll know the one I'm talking about. ;p
I fell out with fall out

Every single time I did that questline I couldn't help but laugh at FISTO.

I clocked up 100s of hours in NV, compared to probably only 2 playthroughs of FO3, although to be fair I got NV first and was a bit spoilt by iron sights, hardcore mode etc. Sadly I have a Macbook now and can't play any of them (without doing Wine voodoo, which never works properly), so I've never had chance to play FO4.

The overall good resolution of the graphics, the depth of field within the game, the plot (when you can actually get around to following it -haha), volume scaling, the map itself, the characters, the weaponry. Everything lmao.

I agree with pretty much all of that. personally i also love the grey morality of the choices that the games often give the main story of the pitt Dlc for fallout 3 being a good example i dont know if youve played it. plus just the sheer ammount of stuff it gives me to do which now seems to iclude giving me the oppertunity to talk about it to pretty girl in this student room thread. haha
I agree. I hope there will soon be a fallout new vegas 2 or at least a remastered version. I love the interactivity of the game.

My favourite game of all time. Insofar that I had to finish it for every faction, including runs on hardcore mode on very-hard difficulty setting with the HUD option disabled for an extra challenge and increased immersion - yet I still found the game too easy after around level 12. I've taken a two year break from it now, but only with the intention of being able to replay it in a few years for a fresh experience.

I hope Obsidian are able to make a new Fallout game under the Bethesda license in the future. Fallout 4 didn't hit all cylinders for me, the gameplay and exploration were fine but the engaging characters, quests, factions, world and je ne sais quoui qualities that New Vegas possessed felt noticeably absent in 4.
