I had to take a gap year in 2016 and will join uni in 2017. i applied for YINI in sept 2016 when will i get a placement?

It's November 2016 at the moment? How would you apply 2 months ago?
Placements aren't necessarily guaranteed, but if you are successful it'll likely depend on the organisation.
