Why do people play games ?

Some people say they do, its mainly when they're crushing on someone, not
necessarily in a relationship.

Like for example the classic 'hard to get' to me its a load BS, people will basically push away their crush to see if they will come running back. But why would you push someone away if you liked them, surely they would drift away and you've ruined your chance.

Some people I know will also flirt with others, just to get attention, but still I dont get it, what attention is it, if you dont like the person and they come up to you and flirt its annoying ??

Could anyone elaborate.

Psychologically it means A LOT.

Having a sense of worth means having a sense of being wanted, aka demand.

Being demanded means more people want you, which means more of a sense of worth.

It doesnt though ?? Ive had girls who liked me but I didnt lead them on. However if someone else was in my shoes they may have lead the girl on to sleep with her.

But because I wasnt interested if she would flirt it would be annoying and I would try to ignore it without sounding rude.

I didnt really feel wanted as I could go hang out with others
