Part time job

Hi guys :smile:! So I am an international student about to start my foundation program in January and I was wondering about how easy/hard it is to find a part time job ! TIA💕
Getting a part time job as an international student can be a bit hard. Do you need a visa and does that restrict how many hours a week you can work? How will this fit with your studies?

Hi Tia

We have a Student Jobshop that is based in the Students' Union and advertises part-time work that is suitable for students. You can find out more online at:

Our general advise is that students don't work more than 16 hours per week (as it can start to impact on your studies) although most international students can work up to 20 hours per week.
