Can anyone explain why Hillary Clinton is the better choice?

Care to explain why Hillary Clinton is the better choice for POTUS, WITHOUT mentioning Trump at all?

This should be interesting...

Also please make it an easy to read list so we don't have walls of text covering half a page or more, thank you.

It's a fair point - many will be voting against one candidate, rather than for the other. Having said that, it's clear to me that there is only one candidate to vote for, and one to vote against.

Your list:
- Experience
- Diplomacy
- More likely to listen to advisers on their specialist subjects
- Published her tax returns
- Accepting reality when things don't go her way
- Getting permission before groping others
- Not trying to throw all her enemies in jail
- Knowing that we can't use nuclear weapons first

P.S. By asking why she's a 'better' choice, you invite comparison.

Couldn't help adding #5, could you?

There's absolutely no denying that Clinton has far more experience in the political sphere, however, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Clinton is a career politician who changes her beliefs to better suit her chances (e.g changing her stance on gay marriage, and having hot sauce in her handbag at all times).

Lashing out at the FBI for reopening their investigation on her wasn't really "accepting reality".

She's ready to go at war with Russia if they do so much as cyber attack the US - her words.

More importantly for many, she has a vagina.

The US will not go to war with Russia over a cyber attack. End of. It's just her trying to deter future attacks.

Regardless, it was a threat. Instead of attempting to quell the US-Russia flames, she's fuelling them, just like 90% of the previous US presidents.

But like any politician, she has no soul.

Would you rather they were submissive? Like Trump? Russia and China for that matter are authoritarian dictatorships trying to rival the US for global supremacy. A strong president doesn't compliment Vladimir Putin of all people.

Two points on this. Firstly, what's wrong with politicians changing their views over time? We seem to have no issue with the electorate changing their minds on every issue going. But when a politician moves to reflect a changing society it suddenly becomes an issue. Clinton has been in politics a long time, can you honestly say you'll hold the same opinions in 30 years?

Secondly, candidates always act more hawkish on the campaign trail and in public. Regan seemed ready to March on moscow at times, yet at one point tried to negotiate complete nuclear disarmament. Do you not think claiming she'll use force against a cyber attack is more about projecting force, than actually advocating its use.

Idiotic post. Firstly you ask people to explain why Hilary is the better choice but then tell people they cannot mention the other opponent. 'Better' is comparative, so how can one say that Hilary is better than the other, without referring to the other?

And secondly, because you demand for information in an easy to read format. If you aren't able or simply can't be bothered to read complex information then why bother making this thread.

Why speak in such vulgar terms? Is it not enough for you to simple say "she's a woman".

I don't go around referring to a man as "the one with a cock".

And besides, the fact that she's a woman probably dissuades as many as it encourages others.

This should be interesting...
Without mentioning Trump as a comparison, the concept of "better" is meaningless.

I think he means, "Can you explain why Hillary Clinton is a good choice" without mentioning Trump at all.

Because this election is based upon Hillary and Donald's best qualities: Vote for Hillary because she's not Trump; Vote for Trump because he's not Hillary.

She has experience destroying other countries
She kills does her best to kill leader who she disagrees with even if there are other options.
She wants to end the first amendment
She wants to end the second amendment
Fights to overturn judgements that help people who are critical of her
Laughs at the death of others

What better candidate could there be.

How can you justify a choice without mentioning the available options?

No its not. Elections never have been. They are based on the best qualities, but also their weaknesses and then a comparison with the other candidate.

In this election they seem to be the two most unpopular candidates ever. It has been more of a choice for many of which one is least worst.

Well, he should have said that.

Because this election is based upon Hillary and Donald's best qualities: Vote for Hillary because she's not Trump; Vote for Trump because he's not Hillary.
That's what it's been turned into by certain parties, but there is actually more to it than that.

What the OP really should have asked is "do you know anything about Clinton other than from the various smear campaigns?"
And the answer will probably be "no" in most cases.

That is probably a reasonable interpretation of a clumsy question. However, the question is rather like being asked whether you would prefer to be infected with HIV or ebola.

There is no good choice in this election. The US system and political parties have done the world a singular disservice.
