Has anyone started Uni in January/Second semester?

Hi,

I made a catastrophic mistake and didn't start Uni in September, I'm now in a position to start and wondered if anyone had experience of starting late, or heard of any Uni that offers it?

A few years ago there was talk of more causes being available in Jan but I can't find anything more online.

Gutted to be wasting a year :frown:

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Undegraduate courses start Autumn. Honestly dont know any that start in Jan.

It is not catastrophic. It was smart not wasting a years finance. get a job , save money and spend time researching exactly the course you wnat to study. It is not a race. Work experience and new skills could pay off handsomely later on.

Nursing has January/February start dates at many unis and some of the newer universities that try and cater for wider groups of students offer January start dates e.g. London Met. However IMO if you want the full 'uni experience' OP I would wait until September. It's not a wasted year if you do something with it, get a job, volunteer, travel e.c.t and then September will come around v quickly.

Ok there are some, but limited/ s[ecialist choice. Not the best reason to choose a course because of its start date .
