VW Golf/Polo is the dream but it may be out of budget, or a Honda would be ideal, but in general not really fussed.
What features in the car are important to you?
No luxuries are required, just a decent speaker system.
What gearbox do you want?
Manual
Are aesthetics of the car important?
Yes
Special requirements?
No specific requirements,just looking for a decent car that won't be needing loads of work done.
What is the minimum fuel consumption you require?

Looking at your requirements, the Golf is out and the Polo is pretty much too.
Although you can still get some for that price.
A Ford Fiesta is a safe bet, along with a Fiat Punto.
For the price you're not going to get a good Honda, they are a little more expensive for a good one.
But yeah a Fiesta, Punto, Peugeot 207, Renault Clio, Citroen C3 are the main options

No worries :smile:
For a Golf you're looking at £3000 minimum, more for a decent one
Polo's can be picked up for £1500 but a decent one would be £2500+

Fiat Panda or 500 will fit pretty well. You can always install a better speaker system If you need to.

Very simple construction, cheap spare parts, engines are very reliable, especially the gasoile F.I.R.E. engines.
I own one. By now it's 11 years old. Won't sell it, it's too good.
