Best universities for English literature which accept passes at access?

Hi all,

I just got a pass on first assignment for my access course in the humanities and now I can't get into the Russel group unis I was planning to apply to. Anyone know of any good unis that accept lower access requirements?

Hi double check with your tutors to see if that's your final mark for the unit.

The units on my access course are graded by combining a number of different essays/exams/presentation across the unit and then giving a final grade at the end of the semester. So in your case there may be more essays/exams robe completed before you receive your final grade for that unit. If you hit Ds in the remaining essays you may come out with merit or even distinction.
