Course Applying: German
AS/A2 subjects: German, French, English Lit, Latin
GCSE grades: 11A*s
A-level predicted: A*A*A*A
AS grades: AAA (English is linear so I didn't do an AS)
Supra-curriculars: I sing and I play the violin. I read things, I go to lectures occasionally. Nothing to boast about.
Other unis considering/applying to: I applied to Oxford but I mucked up the entrance test so I'm fully expecting a rejection in the next few weeks, I have offers from Nottingham and Warwick and I haven't decided what to do with my last space yet.

No not yet. Although when I went to the open day the women that decides your fate told me that its very uncommon to hear if you have an offer until after christmas.

Is St Andrews you first choice?

@Dave1998 Thanks :smile: I'm from England. I was surprised to get the offer given I know they said they give the majority out in January. I just happened to log into track and got a nice surprise.

AS grades: AABB (not my best work ngl)
Supra-curriculars: I play the Viola in orchestras and sing in some choirs. Do a bit of reading and follow scientific publications nothing special
Applied to Edinburgh (conditional) Birmingham (unconditional) Oxford (waiting) and manchester (interview on wednesday)

I got a conditional offer for history!! AAA.
Only found it when I logged into track, I didn't get the usual "your track has been updated".

About a week before the 15 October deadline for Cambridge! No track email but track was updated when I checked.
