Campus Photos

We could tell you how beautiful the Quad is in the autumn sunshine, or describe how handsome Galileo looks furrowing his brow, but we thought it would be better to just show you instead.

If you have any photos you would like to share, please feel free to pop them in this thread. Or if there is anything you would like to see a pic of, just let us know!

Here are some pics to get it started! This is the view from outside my office - the beautiful Quad within Queen's main Lanyon building. Not half bad eh!!

How do you fancy a bit of a whistle stop tour around some of Queen's places and spaces? Starting with our main location (and iconic Belfast sightseeing destination might I add), The Lanyon Building.

It would be great if any current students could add to our images so please feel free to upload your pics around campus!

Next stop is our beautiful Graduate School, a vibrant hub for postgraduate intellectual exchange and collaboration.

And while we're on the subject of beautiful places, check out the new Computer Science building!

It is rather isn't it! :h:
Now onto the McClay Library, which blends together the best features of a traditional library with the latest technology!

It even comes complete with it's very own little Narnia, the C.S. Lewis Reading Room!

For those who fancy themselves as future legal high flyers, check out the heady heights of the new School of Law building.

Hi AEFRGF,

Is it Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering you are interested in, or Civil Engineering? The two schools are in different buildings but both are only 5 minutes walk away from the main Lanyon building.

Hi sahil19,

I honestly don't even think the photos do it justice and the new law building is amazing!

Are you thinking of applying for the 2018/19 intake then?

Yeah very possibly, noticed that the entry requirements have gone up to AAA, how lenient do they tend to be with grades? Would AAB get you over the line?
The ground floor of the School of Law is also home to one of our campus cafes, Junction. Always handy for caffeine top ups!!

If you have a look here you can see an outline of how decisions are made by our Admissions team when making offers to students who have applied for Law. Demand for places seems to be a factor so it could differ from one year to the next.

Hope this helps and best of luck with making your applications!

Of course it's the one I leave out!

The School of Chemical Engineering is based in the David Keir Building in Stranmillis. Again it's only 5 minutes away from Lanyon and is beside Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum.

Are you considering applying for Chemical Engineering?
