Should Obama refuse to leave the White House?

If Obama refuses to leave the White House then Trump can't become president. It could force another general election.

I think with the hacking issue Trump supporters cheated to get him in power. Obama should remain in White House.

the only thing it would "force" would be obama going straight to jail, actually.
the thing about democracy is that we have peaceful transitions of power and we can remove our leaders without bloodshed.
if obama became the first president in history to be so arrogant to refuse to cede, then he would go down in history as a power-hungry egotistical psychopath. he would be just like these leaders in central africa who refuse to give way when they lose a fair election.

You can't jail president Obama. He is president until he chooses to stand down and he has a huge amount of support in the US and in Britain and around the world.

It doesn't matter if he stands down or not. He ceases to be president when Trump is sworn in; whether he leaves the White House or not. At that point he can be arrested.
Obama would be violating the constitution of the United States and thus would be eligible for prosecution. The only possible
way would be if Obama got together some kind of military coup and effectively took over congress by force.

Then he could abandon the constitution and declare himself Command in Chief for eternity. Though I'm guessing a lot of americans would rebel and the US could break into civil war.

With evidence of hacking that affected the general election result everything possible has to be done before its too late and the USA ends up with a president who was unfairly elected.

the supreme court could make it legal if they wanted to. if they made gay marriage a federal law, they can do anything. and if a president refuses to stand down after losing an election, why the **** wouldn't they choose to put him on trial? the american republic was crafted to prevent people becoming dictators ffs

but if not:
1) the congress, which is mostly republican, will impeach his sorry ass, and obama will become this generation's nixon
2) the congress will then swiftly amend the constitution to make the president indictable

but honestly, obama wouldn't even dream of refusing to back down - he doesn't have the balls. also, he's more intelligent than that. he'd know of the very harsh consequences of such a futile attempt. he's probably got better things on his mind that to appear like some childish punk.

I'm sorry but why on earth would vladimir putin and friends want to sit at some computer and manipulate the results of america's presidential election in 2016 given the consequences if the world eventually found out about this? this sounds like nothing but a retard's attempt at conspiracy theories. how can you even "hack" a nation's election? it's not like it's digital. votes are hand-counted.
